PLDC - Tehran, Team Melli has been without sponsors for international matches for a long time.

Azizi Khadem, the member of Football Federation board of directors, finalized the negotiations with the high ranking managers of Aseman Airline Company by attending at the central office of this airline and signing the Aseman sponsorship resolution for Team Melli for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

According to preliminary agreement, Team Melli is to play against Qatar, Lebanon, and South Korea national teams under the new sponsorship of Aseman Airline.

According to this agreement, Team Melli will travel to Qatar and South Korea by Aseman Airbus A340 private flights.

The head of the board of directors of Aseman Airline Company pointed out that, “We expect of the players to play for the people by all means to occupy the actual position for Team Melli. If Team Melli advances to the World Cup, the players, the technical cadre along with their families will enjoy free domestic flights by Aseman Airline.”
