Persianfootball.com – AVEIRO, Persepolis representative Amir Moshiri visited Portuguese Primeira Liga outfit SC Beira-Mar to negotiate a possible cooperation between the clubs.


Moshiri travelled to Portugal to meet Beira-Mar CEO Pedro Coelho and head coach Costinha.

Both club representatives traditionally exchanged gifts and jerseys and held talks about Persepolis youth teams and the infrastructure.

“Our president (Mr. Mohammad Rouyanian) is very happy and satisfied with the development of our youth players. Therefore my visit at Beira-Mar is very important as this club is getting more and more popular in the Middle East”, Moshiri said according to Beira-Mar’s website.

“Portugal is very famous for football, including former players like Costinha. I was warmly welcomed by the officials. I hope we can establish a cooperation between both clubs.”

SC Beira-Mar was founded in 1922 and plays its home matches at the Estádio de Municipal de Aveiro.

The owner of the Portuguese side is no one else than the Iranian businessman and CEO of the Dubai-based 32Group, Majid Pishyar who also owned the Swiss outfit Servette Geneva as well as the Austrian Bundesliga side FC Admira Wacker Mödling.
