PLDC - Tehran, Mehdi Mahdavikia, who was to accompany Persepolis team for Rasht, faced with the sudden news of his mother death and is now mourning for his mother.

A few hours ago, the bitter news touched the Persepolis team. Mehdi Mahdavikia’s mother passed away and he had to leave for Arak failing to attend the Hazfi Cup Final.

The mother of the former Team Melli captain passed away of a stroke. His family lives in Cheshmeh Village of Arak and is engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry.

Upon hearing the bitter news, Mehdi left for Arak to stay beside his family.
