Footballer Daniel Davari invited to Iranian national team



TEHRANTIMES - Iranian-German keeper Daniel Davari has been invited to the Iranian national football team for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup qualifier against Kuwait on March 26.


He had been invited to Iran football team for the match against Lebanon on February 6 but withdrew due to his concentration on his club’s matches.

The 25-year-old keeper was born in Giessen, Germany, from an Iranian father and a polish mother.

Davari will be Iran’s fourth European-based player along with Ashkan Dejagah, Omid Nazari and Reza Ghochannejad.
