TEHRANTIMES - Persepolis midfielder Ali Karimi’s return has been put back until April, the official said.
Karimi was scheduled to make his return against Zob Ahan in Iran’s Hazfi Cup quarter-final last week but the player was not fit for the match.
“Karimi worked hard to return to the team but I think he should wait more. Karimi will be fit for April,” Persepolis coach Yahya Golmohammadi said.
Ali Karimi has been sidelined with a knee injury since the goalless draw against the Saba football team in January.
Persepolis is scheduled to play Rah Ahan in the Iranian Professional League (IPL) on Sunday.
