TEHRANTIMES - Giti Pasand was crowned champion of the Iranian Futsal Super League after a 5-1 win over Shahrdari of Tabriz on Saturday.

It’s the first time Giti Pasand wins the title of the Iranian Futsal Super League.

Saba could have won the title if the team could defeat Shahid Mansouri but they lost 6-3 in their away match.

Giti Pasand claimed the title of the Asian Club Futsal Championship with a 2-1 victory over Uzbekistan’s Ardus in 2012.

Iran’s Sepahan had already won the inaugural championship in 2010.
