TEHRANTIMES - International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) President Joseph Sepp Blatter says he is going to visit Iran in July to know about the country's infrastructural preparedness.

Blatter said this week that he would pay an official visit to Iran during the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup, which will be held between June 21 to July 13 in Turkey.

The head of the Iran Football Federation (IFF), Ali Kaffashian, had already invited Baltter to come to Iran in February but the FIFA president has arranged his travel to Iran in July.

“I want to arrange time to pay visit to Iran’s football equipments during the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey in July… I wish the Iran football team all the best in the international competitions,” Blatter wrote in a letter sent to IFF President Kaffashian.
