PLDC - Ahwaz, Ali Firouzi, the head coach of Sanat Naft Abadan experienced a heart attack on board the plane returning the team to Ahwaz after the events during Sepahan-Sanat Naft play.

After the heavy defeat of his team against Sepahan in Esfahan, Firouzi encountered a reaction from an insulting spectator. He was so upset from this incident that he was treated with serum injection at Esfahan airport. But, the worse incident took place on board the plane where he suffered a heart attack and according to the witnesses he nearly died.

After landing, Firouzi was transferred to a hospital and according to his entourages, he passed a mild stroke.
