PLDC - Tehran, After Mehdi MahdaviKia’s name was left off the 18-player roster of Persepolis in the game against Naft Tehran, rumours suggesting differences between Yahya Golmohammadi and this player spread.
In spite of the spread of rumours, the technical cadre of Persepolis announced that MahdaviKia suffered from a sudden and severe backache in the middle of the training session and after being examined by the physicians, it was decided that he had missed out the play due to his injury.
MahdaviKia is to rest until tomorrow and if his backache is not relieved, there is a need for radiography.
He suffered so much from his backache that he could not even participate in the training session.
