PLDC - Tehran, Persepolis which received a big blow from the absence of Ali Karimi in Darby has to get prepared for harder days, as he cannot return to the games for a long period of time.
Ali Karimi has to be absent from the games for about three months due to his MCL ligament tear, thus he may be absent from the Persepolis lineup in the current season.
Regarding Karimi’s injury, Dr. Mohammad Razi said, “Following his knee examination, it was specified that his MCL ligament had been torn. He needs physiotherapy care and medical treatment to be rehabilitated.
Karimi should not play for about three months. If he played in Derby, other parts of his knee would get worse.”
According to Dr. Razi, his injured foot does not need surgery, but he has to do special exercises and receive physiotherapy for three months.
Karimi’s absence in the premier league and especially in the sensitive games of FA Cup can be a great blow for the reds of Tehran.
