TEHRANTIMES - Standard Liege football team announced the signing of Reza Ghoochannejad on Sunday.

The 25-year-old Iranian international, commonly known as Gucci, has joined the Belgian team on a 3.5 years contract.

Gucci started his career in Heerenveen in 2005 and has played in Go Ahead Eagles and Cambuur football teams as well. He joined Sint-Truiden in 2011 and played 31 games for the Belgian club and netted 18 goals.

Gucci has played two matches for the Iranian football team in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
