Esteghlal, the third Asian top team in 2012



PLDC - Tehran, The International Federation of Football History & Statistics announced the 400 top clubs of the world in 2012.


The South Korean Ulsan Hyundai FC Team with 190 points is 33 in the world and the first in Asia; South Korean Pohang Steelers with 149 points is the second in Asia; and Esteghlal with 121 points remains at 107 in the world, and third in Asia; it is also the first among the Iranian football teams.

Al Hilal Saudi Club with 119.5 points is 109 in the world and the fourth in Asia.

Sepahan of Iran with 102 points is 146 in the world and Persepolis with 75 points is 295 in the world.
