TEHRANTIMES - Persepolis coach Yahya Golmohammadi has hit back at those who criticized his team, which has made some improvement during the recent games.
“I am sorry for those who cannot see our progress. Persepolis has brought the fans together with its good performance. I think, those who criticized us, have stood against the fans,” Golmohammadi said.
On Tuesday, Persepolis is scheduled to play Naft in Iran’s Hazfi Cup round of 16 in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
“Our players have shown the great spirits in the previous matches and it’s so important. Persepolis players are well-prepared to defeat Naft. They believe that they can beat the team in Hazfi Cup,” Golmohammadi said.
“We have a good knowledge of Naft and analyzed the team. I hope that we can book a place in the eighth round with a victory over Naft,” Persepolis coach added.
