Milan Club emphasized that in the meeting between the club board of directors and Persepolis, there was no talk on buying Iranian players by the Milan Club, since this Club cannot buy non-European players.
Regarding the meeting between the Persepolis general manager and Milan Club, Giuseppe Sapienza said, “A commercial cooperation agreement was signed with Persepolis Club in the direction of friendship between the two countries and the clubs.”
He also added that, “In the visit of the Iranian party to A.C. Milan Club, cooperation and commercial relations between the two clubs were the only issues for mutual advertising and promotion of the Milan Club in Iran and Persepolis in Italy.
