PLDC - Tehran, According to Alalam News Network, resources near to Iraq Football Federation claim that Ali Daei will be announced as the head coach of Iraq National Team for the WAFF Championship in Kuwait and Persian Gulf Cup in Bahrain.

The report adds that after the head coaching of Brazilian Zico was cancelled in Iraq, Daei was announced as a choice to guide the National Team of Iraq.

Saad Abdul-Amir, the Midfielder of the National Team of Iraq confirmed this news too and also Salam Shakir, the Iraqi national team defender has pointed to this issue in his page in one of the social networks.

Iraq Football Federation arrived at an agreement with Hakeem Shakir as the Iraq National Team coach to participate in WAFF competitions.

Daei is now the head coach of RahAhan football team and this offer is proposed at the time when the WAFF competitions begin in December 8, 2012.
