TEHRANTIMES - Former Iran coach Mohammad Mayeli Kohan was appointed as Gahar football coach on Saturday.

The 59-year-old is Gahr’s third coach in the current season. Mayeli Kohan will be assisted by Nader Faryad-Shiran and Alireza Pourmand in the team.

The Doroud-based team parted company with Mehdi Tartar in September. The newly-promoted team reached an agreement with former Esteghlal coach Parviz Mazloumi but he stepped down after just one week due to plenty of the team’s problems.

Gahar sits just one place above the Iran Professional League relegation zone.
