KABIR - Peter Schmeichel, the former goalkeeper of Manchester United, is going to Visit Tehran, Iran. The embassy of Denmark in Iran has confirmed this report but the time of Peter’s trip is not yet announced.

A few days ago the president of Persepolis FC, Mohammad Royanian, met Andres Christian Haugaard, ambassador of Denmark to Iran and they talked about several topics. Peter Schmeichel has a notable fan base between Iranians especially the fans of Manchester United.  Christian Haugaard has promised the Iranian side to bring Peter Schmeichel to Tehran.

“Peter Schmeichel will visit Tehran in future. Note that we have not signed any agreement with Persepolis FC on this subject but we negotiated with Mohammad Royanian about this. Also we have not yet scheduled the trip for Schmeichel but his plans will be announced in future.” The secretary of Denmark embassy in Iran said.

Currently Persepolis FC is trying to expand its cultural, sports and economic activities in other countries including Sweden, Croatia and Denmark. It seems the meeting between Mohammad Royanian and Andres Christian Haugaard was planned to discuss about these topics.
