PLDC - Tehran, The Persepolis chairman disclosed the negotiation for the recruitment of Samuel, the halfback of Esteghlal football team, but emphasized that, “we are not going to exchange a player from Persepolis with Samuel.”

Rouyanian said that there had been a lot of news on the exchange of a player from Persepolis with Samuel which would get our players into trouble.

It is therefore necessary to explain and announce that the initial measures have been taken to recruit Samuel for the half-season. We have had some negotiations and agreements with Esteghlal Club, but nothing is one hundred percent been conclusive.

Regarding Karim Ansarifard and Eamon Zayed, Rouyanian told Persepolis Site that: “we never give two players away. They are Persepolis players and favored by their fans. Ansarifard and Zayed are good players and we do not intend to lose them.”

Referring to news concerning separation of Shahab Gordan and Saman Aghazamani, Rouyanian said: “it is not true and we did not intend to exchange Saman Aghazamani. Shahab Gordan is a capable goalkeeper with great competence and aptitude. Perchance, I talked with Jose and Carlos Queiroz about Shahab Gordan and I hope he gets what he deserves.”

At the end he added: “I appreciated Gordan for his professionalism and patience in the presence of Persepolis players. He did not have the chance to play, but he never created troubles for our team. It is appreciable"
