TEHRANTIMES - Persepolis general manager Mohammad Ruyanian hit out at the referees after his team was held to a goalless draw by Saipa last week.
“Persepolis was held to a goalless draw by Saipa but the referee ignored our four penalties. This is not normal and we should have gotten three points instead of one point,” Ruyanian said
“I don’t know what happens behind the scene. The referee ignored our penalty in derby as well. They also disregarded our penalty against Gahar,” he added.
“This is injustice to our players and fans. We have to forget football and fight with referees. I respect the all referees but I believe that this is not normal a referee ignores four penalties in a match,” Ruyanian stated.
