PLDC - Tehran, Although the head of Iran Football Federation denied the news of friendly play with Egypt, CNN Site claimed that Mohammed Morsi disagreed with this play.

CNN Site claimed that Mohammed Morsi, the Islamist president of Egypt, disagreed with a friendly play with Iran and did not authorized the Egypt Football Federation to perform this visit which was to be held on October 12 in Emirates.

CNN claimed it had an interview with a person close to Egypt Football Federation and that person had also announced that Morsi disagreed with this play.

This person whose identity remains unknown told CNN that Bradley the American head coach of Egypt National Team announced his agreement with a play with Iran Team Melli, but Egypt Football Federation asked the opinion of the president through a letter with regard to political situation between the two countries.

The authorities told us that the president disagreed with this visit and has asked the technical cadre of the team not to ask for reasons and interpretations on this issue.

The news of cancellation of the friendly play between Iran and Egypt was spread by the western media when Kafashian, the head of Football Federation, called it rumor yesterday and added that it was rumor because the date announced for this play is the date when our Team Melli is playing with the South Korea team and it is impossible to have two plays at the same time.

The Federation has taken no action for the performance of this play and we are uninformed of it.
