AFC - The Match Commissioner of the AFC Champions League 2012 quarter-final first leg match on 19 September 2012 between Foolad Sepahan (Iran) and Al Ahli (Saudi Arabia) in Isfahan has reported that some objects were thrown by spectators of host club Foolad Sepahan towards the Assistant Referee near the corner area in the 64th minute.

One of the objects was a firecracker which exploded. Consequently, the referee stopped the match before it was resumed five minutes later.

The Match Commissioner’s report has been forwarded to AFC’s Legal Department for disciplinary investigation.
