PLDC - Isfahan, following the dizziness and poisoning of some of the players at the end of the play against Sepahan, the chief executive officer of Persepolis announced that they scrutinize the incident.
According to news and quoting from Persepolis Club Site, on the issue of serotherapy of a number of Persepolis players after the play with Sepahan, Mohammad Royaniyan said, “according to the reports I received Naghizadeh, Noori, and Noroozi were treated by serotherapy but Naghizadeh is not yet in good physical condition. Bengar and Mahdavikeya due to low blood pressure are yet lethargic.”
He added: “The incident is very strange for us. All spectators observed that in the first half, the Persepolis players appeared very combative and active, but in the second half they were very inactive compared to the first half, so that their play in the second half did not appear to be natural and normal. It seems there were some problems with them. So at the end of the play several of the players were treated because they were lethargic or poisoned and some were treated by serotherapy.
The chief executive officer of Persepolis specified that, “We will investigate the matter rigorously. It is very suspicious and unnatural. I have heard of some elements in Iran football teams who are after magic and the like, but not heard and seen such incident happens for the players of a team.
Royaniyan added, “Unfortunately, there were no suitable facilities at the playground but only an ambulance to attend the Persepolis players. It seems that Mr. Shirini has also been hospitalized. I am in contact with the members of the team and the medical cadre has announced that all the food, powder, liquids, and mineral water will be sent to Tehran for careful testing to specify what this unusual and dubious incident has been.
