After being defeated by the Lebanese National Football Team, experts believe that the lack of an Iranian coach familiar with the present conditions of Iran was one of the most effective factors in recent weak games.

According to Sources, experts believe that if our Team Melli benefited from an Iranian coach familiar with the moral characteristics of the players, we would have better results in our competitions.

At present the only assistant in the Team Melli is Omide Namazi who has had no connection with Iran football. We witness no other Iranian coach in our Team Melli, because Queiroz has chosen his assistants from among those busy in other countries. These types of elections have been followed with acrimonious criticisms.

Following this issue, it is heard that the authorities of the Football Federation are to elect an experienced and influential Iranian coach. Names such as Majid Jalali, Alireza Mansourian and even Namjoo-Motlagh are taken into consideration, those whose names are probably considered to be one of Queiroz’s assistants.

Queiroz is now out of Iran, but there might be a distant negotiation with him regarding the issue and the intended coach to be elected. It is heard from the Football Federation that Mr. Nabi is in charge of electing the Iranian coach, but whether a person like Majid Jalali is ready to work as Queiroz’s assistant or not is a questions that he himself has to answer.
