KABIR - Iran national football team assistant coach António Simões says his side is ready to beat Lebanon in Beirut.
“We had good trainings and we passed a fantastic camp in Jordan. Also we have good insight over Lebanon team. Some experts and analyzers believe Lebanon is the weakest team in this group but I must say that all the nations and teams are trying hard to do their bests to qualify for FIFA World Cup.” António Simões noted.
“Although it is too hard but our goal is to claim all the 3 points from the match against Lebanon and we are ready to win this game.” António Simões added.
Iran national football team appeared in three FIFA World Cups including 1978, 1998 and 2006 tournaments. On Tuesday, Iran must face with Lebanon in Beirut. Iran has earned 4 points from its first two matches against Uzbekistan and Qatar. Also South Korea faces a tricky trip to Tashkent to take on an Uzbekistan team in need of victory.
