PLDC - Tehran, After the Clubs Union meeting today, it was rumored that Shahriyari has reached an agreement with the minister of sports to occupy the managing directorship of Esteghlal and is going to replace Fathollahzadeh soon.

Although Ahmad Shahriyari, the new member of Esteghlal board of directors, has denied his managing directorship news, in all likelihood he is going to replace Ali Fathollahzadeh in near future.

According to News, regarding his managing directorship at Esteghlal, Shahriyari added that, “I am not an alternative and replacement for Fathollahzadeh at all and my presence in Esteghlal Club board of directors has nothing to do with this issue. Ask it from those who spread disinformation.”

But today, after the Clubs Union meeting, it was rumored among the managers that Shahriyari has reached an agreement with the minister of sports to hold the managing directorship of Esteghlal and will soon replace Fathollahzadeh.

That Fathollahzadeh is quitting is the most important word of mouth. We have to wait for the reaction from the present Esteghlal managing director to this rumor. Since Shahriyari is of the same province as is the minister, his chance of replacing Fatolahzadeh is great.
