KABIR - Esteghlal’s striker Siavash Akbarpour revealed that he is not still satisfied with his own performance for the club during the first matches of Iran Pro League.
Siavash picked up an injury during trainings but he think the conditions are well. “It is not a severe injury and I am doing recovery to join the exercises. Currently I don’t have any major problem.”
“I’m not still satisfied with my own performance for the club and I must do better than this. I want to score more goals for Esteghlal to help the club to claim the title of Iran Pro League.” Siavash Akbarpour added. He didn’t play very well for Esteghlal in the new season.
Akbarpour also talked about Esteghlal’s archrival, Persepolis. “They are a big club and I am sure they can get recovered from their bad conditions in near future. They can even claim the title so we have to take care of them too.”
Siavash Akbarpour started his professional career in Fajr Sepasi and moved to Esteghlal in 2004 where he made and excellent partnership with Reza Enayati in the front. He was one of the club’s main players in its 2005-06 IPL championship. In July 2007 he moved to the UAE and joined Al-Dhafra. In 2008 transfer window he again joined Esteghlal F.C. and won the league in his first season after many impressive matches. He signed a contract with Tractor Sazi on 18 June 2011. For the new season he teamed up with his favor coach Amir Ghalenoei and penned a new contract with Esteghlal.
