PFDC - WOLFSBURG/LONDON, The Iranian international Ashkan Dejagah (26) is reportedly close to sign a deal with the Premier League outfit FC Fulham.

The 26-year old VFL Wolfsburg winger, who suffered a torn muscle fibre during a Wednesday afternoon training session, is ready to leave the German Bundesliga side as the relationship between the coach Felix Magath and the Iranian national team player worsened during the pre-season preparations, although having a year left until expiration of his contract.

Dejagah, who started his professional career at Hertha BSC Berlin back in 2003, has been wearing the jersey of the "Wolves" since 2007 and scored 18 goals in 131 matches so far.

Despite a good move of an Iranian legionaire, Iran coach Carlos Queiroz won't be pleased with the current situation as Dejagah will miss the Jordan friendly as well as the FIFA World Cup qualifier against Lebanon in September.

It is yet unclear, whether the right-winger will be ready for the crucial World Cup qualifier against South Korea in Tehran in mid-October.

Meanwhile, Queiroz included Persepolis striker Karim Ansarifard (22), who was previously crossed out of the list, to the 23-men squad for the upcoming Jordan friendly and the qualifier against Lebanon.
