TEHRANTIMES - South Korean Kwon Jun passed his medical with Persepolis football team on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old defensive midfielder underwent medical tests with the club.
Jun started his career with Brazilian football team Figueirense in 2006. He joined PSM Makassar of Indonesia in 2011.
Kwon Jun graduated from Dangseo elementary school in Seoul and went off to Brazil to training in Oscar Soccer Academy. In 2006, he formally made a pro-contract with the Figueirense Football Club in Brazil premier league as the first Korean player.
Also, in 2006, he played for U-20 South Korea team.
After Roberto Sousa was sidelined with ligament injury, the team’s officials are going to replace Kwon Jun with the Brazilian.
