PFDC - BUDAPEST, Iran's national team landed in Budapest, Hungary, on Thursday and could welcome some new faces in the first training session.
Belgium based striker Reza 'Gucci' Ghoochannejhad trained with the Iranian national team for the first time, wearing number 24 on his training jersey.
Also Hadi Aghily from Qatar SC joined the rest of the squad, increasing the number of present players to 22. While two additional players, Mohammad Nouri and Shahab Gordan, both from Persepolis, accompied the team to Hungary, only three legionnaires are still missing.
While Omid Nazari and Alireza Haghighi are expected to join the training camp in the coming days, Ashkan Dejagah will probably not be available before Monday.
Meanwhile, Bart Caubergh overtook Mick Mc Dermott's fitness coach job. The 28-year-old Belgian holds a UEFA A coaching license and most recently worked as fitness coach at Al Jazeera of the UAE.
Iran will hold a one-week training camp in Hungary before entertaining Tunisia in a friendly match on August 15 in Kecskemét, Hungary.
