PFDC - TEHRAN, German sports brand Uhlsport signed a three-year-deal as the official sponsor of the Iranian national team.

The deal was unveiled in a press conference in Tehran on Tuesday, featuring national team coach Carlos Queiroz, team captain Javad Nekounam and football federation boss Ali Kafashian, among others.

Team Melli from now on will wear kits from Uhlsport, who already are sponsoring the majority of Iranian first league clubs as well as being the official sponsor of the football league itself.

Iran were without an official sponsor after cancelling the contract with Legea last year, following a dispute over the quality of the provided materials.
