KABIR - Andranik Teymourian was one of the most successful Iranian football players during the recent years after he returned to Iran in 2010. Recently he has signed a very lucrative deal with Qatari side Al-Kharaitiyat worth $1.8 million for one year.

“There are some rumors around about my place in Iran national team after leaving Iran’s domestic league. Well, honestly its not true. Im not worry about my place in national team because I believe Carlos Queiroz doesn’t ignore Iranian players working in Qatar’s league.” Andranik Teymourian said.

“The Stars league of Qatar is a professional league. From 20-30 years ago Iranians used to play for Qatari clubs. After years I have obtained more experiences. Im here to play football not for entertainment, however I signed a nice contract.” Andranik Teymourian continued.

“I will try to give my best for Al-Kharaitiyat club. I will wear the number 14 jersey. I love Esteghlal and the blue shirt of Al-Kharaitiyat helps me to not forget my beloved club.” Andranik Teymourian added.

Teymourian spent 2011–2012 season in Esteghlal.
