TEHRANTIMES - Persepolis club announced on Sunday that they are going to hold a testimonial match for Vahid Hashemian.

On Saturday, Hashemian retired from football on his 36th birthday and the Iranian giant will award him a testimonial match for all his loyal service to the club.

The exact date of the match has yet to announce.

Former Bochum and Bayern Munich striker signed a contract with Iran’s Persepolis in 2010, where he won the Hazfi Cup in his first season. He played 22 times for Persepolis and scored four goals.

Vahid Hashemian also made 50 appearances for the Iran football team and scored 15 goals.
