Former Esteghlal players join Rah Ahan

TEHRANTIMES - Rah Ahan football team has announced the signings of former Esteghlal players Farzad Ashoubi and Pirouz Ghorbani.


Ashoubi, a former Esteghlal midfielder, who was a member of Traktorsazi of Tabriz last season, joined Rah Ahan on a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee.

Ghorbani also joined Rah Ahan from Saipa. Ghorbani played for Esteghlal from 2003 to 2009.

Rah Ahan parted company with Ali Daei and has yet to hire a new coach.

Rah Ahan finished 13th the 2011-12 Iranian Professional League season.
