KABIR - Manuel Jose, the new head coach of Persepolis FC, says he is not worry about working and managing giant Persepolis.
“I used to manage Al Ahly S.C. in Egypt. The club had 60 million fans so I'm familiar with the atmosphere around these clubs. Before arriving to Iran I collected some information about Persepolis. I know this club is one of the most popular clubs in Asia. Seeing the huge number of fans is normal for me and I'm not worry about working here.” Manuel Jose said.
Manuel Jose came to Tehran with two Portuguese assistants. He has signed a one year deal with Persepolis FC. Some of the teams he has coached include Vitória de Guimarães, Sporting CP, Sporting de Braga, Boavista, Benfica, Al-Ahly, Belenenses, Angola, amongst others, being the coach with most games in the Primeira Liga.
Also Ali Karimi and Mehdi Mahdavikia renewed their contracts with Persepolis for an additional year. Currently Mehdi Mahdavikia is the Capitan of Persepolis and Ali Karimi is the Vice Capitan.
