KABIR - Iman Mobali, Iranian midfielder, transferred back to Esteghlal after having unsuccessful season with Al Sharjah SC in Emirates. He only appeared in 8 matches for his team. Because of this, he lost his position in Iran’s national team. He used to play in Esteghlal in 2010-11.
“Amir Ghalenoei (the new head coach of Esteghlal) believes me. I had a pivotal role in his squad during 2007 Asian cup. I always respect to Esteghlal’s fans. Due to these reasons I decided to sign a one year contract with Esteghlal.” Iman Mobali said.
“My biggest mistake was leaving Esteghlal for Al Sharjah SC. Because of this I lost my position in TeamMelli. But Im sure I can restore myself in this season. Another mistake in Emirates was cancelling the contract with Al Sharjah SC when the club was between the last four teams in Emirates Cup. According to the regulations in Iran’s league, I couldn’t join Esteghlal in that time.” Mobali added.
Iman Mobali started his career in Foolad. In 2000-01 he promoted to the senior squad of Foolad. He used to play for four clubs in Emirates including Al-Shabab Dubai, Al Wasl, Al Nasr Dubai and Al Sharjah.
