Iran to face Uzbekistan in AFC Futsal Championship quarter-final



TEHRANTIMES - Iran overpowered Australia in the 2012 AFC Futsal Championship group stage on Sunday and will meet Uzbekistan in quarter-final.  


Iran outlined its status as the overwhelming tournament favorite with an emphatic 9-0 win over Australia and will play Uzbekistan on Tuesday in what will be a meeting between the 2010 tournament's champions and runners-up.

The Persians have already defeated South Korea and Qatar in Group C.
