The Iranian National Team has been
invited to the LG Cup in Morrocco. Other participants will be
Morrocco, Saudi Arabia and Venezuela. The tournament is scheduled for
March 1-3. The Football Federation of Iran will annoucne soon whether
Iran will participate or not. The winner of the tournament will
recieve $50,000, the 2nd place team will recieve $30,000 and the 3rd
place will recieve $20,000.
Iran participated in the LG Cup in Cairo last year and finished last. It has been rumored that iran will play Morrocco ont he opening day of the 4-team tournament. Arman M. www.varzeshkar.com
