PFDC - ISTANBUL, Besiktas Istanbul have closed in on young Iranian goalkeeper Hamed Lak, several Turkish sources report.

The 21-year-old Saba Qom keeper, who reportedly would cost a million Euros transfer fee, has enrolled at the Bahçeşehir university of Istanbul and has been temporarily freed of Iranian military service, which indicates everything has been set for a transfer to Turkey.

Besiktas veteran goalkeeper Rüst Recber's future at Besiktas beyond this season is in serious doubt.

Lak, who has three Olympic team caps to his name, would be the second Iranian goalkeeper to join a European club this year after Alireza Haghighi, who was transferred to Rubin Kazan in winter.
