Iran's Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz has named a provisional 33-man squad for Team Melli's opening fourth round World Cup qualifier away to Uzbekistan on June 3.
Team Melli, who progressed to the final round of qualifying after topping Group E, have been grouped alongside Uzbekistan, South Korea, Qatar and Lebanon.
Iran, who saw their friendly against UAE cancelled for political reasons, have played against Mozambique and Mauritania national teams so far this year.
Among the squad is Ashkan Dejagah who is called up despite to reports he is in doubt for the White Wolves clash due to a hamstring injury.
Osasuna's Masoud Shojaei has been named with Iran team doctors stating they believe he is injury-free for the qualifying campaign after a long-term foot problem.
