The fingerprints of the members of the Saudi Arabian football team Al-Hilal were taken upon their arrival in Tehran for the match with Iranian "Persepolis" team, Fars agency said today.

This step was taken to ensure safety. It was a response to Saudi Arabia's similar step toward Iranian players who visited the country for matches, media reported.

A delegation of Saudi Arabian football players, including about 40 people, was met at the Tehran airport by Er-Riad embassy in Tehran.

It is reported that the football match between Al-Hilal and Persepolis will be held on May 1 at the stadium "Azadi".

The owner of the football team is one of Saudi Arabia's princes Abdul-Rahman Bin Musaid Al-Saud.
