TEHRANTIMES - Persepolis captain Ali Karimi will stay at his club, according to the team’s General Manager Mohammad Ruyanian.

Karimi criticized Persepolis coach Mustafa Denizli over the team’s lineup for the match against Al Gharafa of Qatar in the AFC Champions League.

The Iranian media reported the iconic midfielder might leave the team at the end of the season.

Karimi and Denizli have since buried the hatchet.

“Karimi will stay in our team. Denizli will also stay in Persepolis” Ruyanian said.

“After match against Traktorsazi and Al Hilal, Denizli will announce the players who are surplus to requirements at Persepolis,” Persepolis General Manager added.
