| Tehran, Jan 31 - International striker Ali Dai'i hail Iran's new national team coach nomination. " Ivankovic is the most fitted man to lead the national team", the Herta Berlin forward told reporters pointing to the high technical and management potentials of the present Croacian coach, an assistant to the former coach Belasevic who resigned last month when he failed to advance Iran to the world cup final. "The new coach has spent a long time in Iran and is fully aware of the capabilities and qualifications of team members", the veteran striker reasoned. Asked about Iran's upcoming friendly visit against Croatia, he said Herta coach ruled him out to join his Iranian teammates because of the team's next two visits. |
