The Iranian team is scheduled to play Al Jazira at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Group A on Wednesday.
“We will be seeking revenge against Al Jazira. Esteghlal would beat the Emirati team if our players keep their cool and take advantage of their chances,” Esteghlal coach said on Sunday on the sidelines of Esteghlal’s training.
“We’ve analyzed Al Jazira’s game and are ready to get three points. Also, Esteghlal will be boosted by the return of injured players such as Andranik Teymourian and Mojtaba Jabbari,” Esteghlal coach added.
Esteghlal captain Mojtaba Jabbari also said they have a difficult duty against Al Jazira. He said, “We are well-prepared for the important match and just think about beating them.”
