Maveddat passed away in Tehran’s Shari’ati Hospital after suffering a stroke.
Mavaddat was brother of late Bahram Mavaddat, who was goalkeeper of Persepolis and Sepahan during 1970s.
He will be laid to rest at the Behesht-e Zahra Cemetery on Sunday and will be remembered by all his colleagues and relatives.
