The IPL leader won a thriller in Bandar Anzali, beating Malavan 4-3.
Fabio Januario put the visiting team in the lead two minutes into the match. Mehdi Seyed Salehi extended Sepahan’s lead in the 10th minute, and Bruno Correa scored the third goal eight minutes later.
Malavan fought back from three goals down to draw with Sepahan. Mohammad Nozhati scored a brace in the 25th and 39th minute and Ahmad Ahi equalized the match three minutes before the interval. But Sepahan midfielder Omid Ebrahimi scored the decisive goal two minutes after the break.
Elsewhere, Saba was held to a 2-2 draw against Sanat Naft and Shahin beat Naft of Tehran 1-0.
Sepahan sits top of the IPL standings table with 58 points, while Traktorsazi is second with 53 points.
