Aluminum Hormozgan promoted to IPL



TEHRANTIMES - Aluminum Hormozgan secured a promotion to the Iran Professional League (IPL) on Thursday.

The Bandar Abbas based team advanced to the Iran Professional League for the first time in history.

Aluminum failed to climb to IPL last season after being defeated by Moghavemat in a two-leg playoff.

“Aluminium will have a very difficult task in IPL but we are going to shine like a jewel in Persian Gulf,” Aluminium coach Akbar Misaghian said.
