The match was scheduled on March 15 in Shiraz’s Hafezieh Stadium but Iran’s Professional League Organization has decided to change the venue for the match since the stadium does not have quality turf.
Esteghlal officials previously criticized the pitch at Hafezieh and wanted the game to be played in Isfahan or Ahvaz.
The match will be played in Ahvaz's Ghadir Stadium on Thursday, according to the organization.
Esteghlal beat Shahrdari of Yasuj 1-0 in Iran’s Hazfi Cup semifinals while the Busheher-based Shahin defeated Mes of Kerman 2-0.
The winner of the match will advance to next season’s AFC Champions League.
