Saeidlu likely to run for IFF presidency

TEHRANTIMES - Former Iran's President of Physical Education Organization (PEO) Ali Saeidlu will likely register as a candidate for Iran’s Football Federation (IFF) presidency on Tuesday.  

Saidlu, who was forced to leave his role as head of the PEO in June 2011, is widely tipped to take part in the IFF presidential elections, which will be held on March 5.

The current IFF president Ali Kaffashain and IFF deputy Mehdi Taj have previously indicated they will run for IFF presidency.
