They have given Karimi a two-match deadline after he suffered two heavy defeats against Persepolis (4-1) and Traktorsazi (3-0) respectively in IPL competitions.
“After a management board session held at the club, Karimi has been given a two-match deadline in our team. However, I think he could bring an end to the situation” Ahmad Gazi, head of Shahin Management Board said.
Shahin is 15th in IPL standings table with 20 points.
Shahin will meet Esteghlal in Iran’s Hazfi Cup final which will be played between 10 March to 20 March.
The winner of the match will advance to next season’s AFC Champions League.
