The Asian Football Confederation has announced the second shortlist of contenders for the 2011 Player of the Year award. Japan, Iran and Korea have two players each in the list.

The award will be presented in a ceremony in Kuala Lumpur on Nov. 23. The contenders are:
Andranik Teymourian (Iran) ,  Hadi Aghily (Iran)
Keisuke Honda (Japan) , Shinji Kagawa (Japan)
Koo Ja-cheol (Korea Republic) , and Yeom Ki-hun (Korea Republic)
Mohammed Noor (Saudi Arabia)
Server Djeparov (Uzbekistan)
Ismail Matar (UAE)
Ismaeel Abdullatif (Bahrain)
